About DUIL

بِسۡمِ اللّٰہِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِیۡمِ

All praise and thanks belong to the Almighty Allah, and may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon the Messenger of Him. We bear witness that there is no true god but Allah alone, with no partner or associate and Muhammad is His slave and final Messenger. We ask Allah to lead us in The Right and Straight Path (Seerat al-Mustaqim).

About Us:

We, some students of the University of Dhaka, felt that Islamophobia is in increase, specially students who are going through higher education are at great risk. On the other hand, the practice of moral values in our personal and social life is decreasing day by day. So, we realized the need to establish a platform where the educated young generation can get the chance to practise Islamic values. We then started from our own campus and established an organization named Dhaka University Dawah Circle (DUDC).

We have already organized some events like Seerat Competition, Quranic Quiz, Marriage Quiz etc. In continuation of this, we are keen on having an Islamic library which may help us to develop our knowledge level and enlight ourselves indeed.

Point to be noted that Dhaka University Dawah Circle (DUDC) and Dhaka University Islamic Library (DUIL) are non-profit and non-political organizations. We do not want to divide people rather unite them on the basis of Islamic Monotheism.

Store Books in Hall

We shall try to keep books on every discipline in Islamic theology. We shall maintain 4 to 6 hallwise zones where the books would be distributed.

Maintained by DU Students

Those involved in managing the library and distributing the books are students of the University of Dhaka

Distributed by Students

Every zone would have a zonal agent along with an assistant to supervise the book exchange procedure. The details would be informed later.
